The new hotel owners came to us for a fresh start. The hotel needed a new name, complete rebrand and repositioning on the market. So we came up with Mola, the family owned boutique hotel. We completely overhauled the hotel’s image and gave it the deserving fresh start. Mola’s rating on booking.com went from an avarage 7.3 to whopping 8.9 in customer satisfaction.
We found brand inspiration from the history of the hotel’s location. Mlin Balkan is a popular spot in Skopje, pulling reference from the giant mill complex that once stood there before the world war. We translated history by modifying the mill stone pattern and shape into the perfect symbol for the new brand.
